Christ-Centered
Jesus Christ is the reason we exist, and His Word guides every decision and relationship. We serve students, families, and schools in the name Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father (Colossians 3:17).
We let Scripture shape our choices, partners, and tone. Because Faith Scholarships operates under ecclesiastical oversight, we prioritize schools that disciple students in the faith and align with our biblical convictions (see our Statement of Faith link). We will not pursue speed or popularity at the expense of fidelity to Christ.
Compassion
We move toward need with empathy and practical help. Every application represents a real family—not just a number (James 2:15-16).
We prioritize students for whom cost is the primary barrier to Christ-centered education and communicate decisions with care, prayer, and next-step options. Compassion also means strengthening schools so teachers are honored with fair wages rather than subsidizing tuition through pay cuts. If a single parent is $1,200 short of having her child enrolled, our scholarship can close the gap and have that child in a discipleship-rich environment.
Compliance
We honor God and our donors by operating within the law and requiring the same from our partners. Governmental compliance is a matter of integrity, not convenience (Romans 13:1).
We uphold clear standards for lawful and ethical operations and expect partner schools to align with those standards. Our agreements communicate expectations, and we periodically review alignment as part of due diligence. When concerns arise, we provide guidance and reasonable steps to resolve them; if needed, we may pause or decline funding until matters are addressed. We also handle personal and organizational information with care and confidentiality to preserve stewardship and trust.
Transparency
We welcome the sunlight. Clear processes, clear numbers, and clear communication are our priorities. Donors and families should always know how decisions are made and how dollars are used (2 Corinthians 8:20–21).
We explain scholarship criteria and partner requirements in plain language, disclose and recuse from any conflicts of interest, and provide simple outcome reporting to donors, including restricted gifts. We will post our Form 990 by April each year so anyone can see how funds are used. Our transparency never compromises family privacy; sensitive documents are protected and never shared publicly.
Quality
We pursue high standards because our work is an offering to the Lord (Colossians 3:23). To us, quality means doing the most good with every dollar.
We vet partners for theological alignment and educational excellence, use clear rubrics to award scholarships, and simplify forms so families can apply without frustration. After each cycle we review results and adjust our approach so support truly changes a student’s ability to attend. We also document lessons learned, shorten turnaround times, and keep improving communication with families and schools.
